Privacy notice

What we collect

The apps ask for camera, photo and location access only when you use the feature that needs it. You can say no; you’ll just need to type your address instead, and Pros need the camera only for the verification selfie. We don’t use advertising, ad identifiers or third-party analytics, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Why we use it

Who sees it

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep account and booking records while your account is active and for as long as needed for warranty claims, disputes, tax and legal obligations. Booking chat messages are erased 180 days after a booking closes, and notifications after 180 days. A Pro’s live location is only shared while they are on the way to your booking and is deleted when the job ends.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time from Account in the app or My bookings on the website (how to delete your account). We delete your name, login (mobile number or email), addresses, photos, videos, messages, notification tokens and, for Pros, verification documents. Records of completed bookings and payments, including payment screenshots you submitted, are kept with your name removed for disputes and tax.

Children

Ayohon is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. On phones, your sign-in is kept in the device’s secure storage (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) and is not included in device backups. Access is limited by role: customers, Pros and staff each see only what they need, and your Pro never sees your mobile number or email. Photos, videos and technician documents are stored privately and shared only through short-lived links. Ayohon staff must sign in with two-factor authentication, and every time staff view a customer’s contact details it is logged. Every booking change is recorded.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to erasure or blocking, to correct, to data portability, to claim damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To use these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer.
